◙ DEGREE  PROGRAMS

Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies (M. Div.)

A degree program for students who hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent and plan to enter the ministry of the Church and/or teaching ministry in a theological institution as his/her vocation. This is especially to prepare graduates for further study in Old or New Testament. Normally, three (3) years of academic study is required to complete the program. A maximum of six (6) years is allowed for completion.

Master of Divinity in Pastoral Studies (M. Div.)

A degree program for students who hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent and plan to enter the pastoral ministry/leadership of the Church and/or teaching ministry in a theological institution as his/her vocation. Normally, three (3) years of academic study is required to complete the program. A maximum of six (6) years is allowed for completion.

Master of Arts in Ministry (M.A.M.)

This degree program is designed for the student who holds a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, particularly those who graduated from other Theological institutions, Bible schools, and desires to serve the church on a full time basis. Normally two (2) years of study is required for completion of this degree.

Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.)

This is designed for the student who plans to enter a full-time church ministry. The candidate must have completed the required 60 or more units of credits from an approved college or university. At least three (3) years of academic study is required to complete this degree.

Bachelor of Arts in Theology (A.B.Th.)

A degree program designed for the student who graduated from high school and seeks to receive general education offered by other CHED approved colleges and preliminary biblical and theological education for master level studies. Normally, the program may be completed in four (4) years. A maximum of eight (8) years is allowed for completion.

Bachelor of Science in Christian Education (B.S.C.Ed.)

A four-year degree program for the student who graduated from high school and seeks to be equipped with sound foundation in Christian Education. It is designed to develop, equip, produce competent and productive Christian Educators for Church Ministry.

Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.E.Ed. – E.C.E.) (Major in Early Childhood Education)

A four-year degree program for students who graduated from high school and aim to be equipped as Early Childhood Education Teachers. It is designed to develop, equip and produce competent and effective preschool teachers with Christian perspective.

Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.E.Ed.)

A four-year degree program for the students who graduated from high school and seek to be equipped as elementary school teachers who can teach across the different learning areas in grade school.

◙ NON-DEGREE  PROGRAMS

Advanced Diploma in Theological Studies (A.D.T.S.)

This program is designed for students who have undertaken a foundational course in college or seminary and wish to do a one year advanced study in theological studies. This is also designed for those who plan to have a full year sabbatical leave from their job or ministry for the purpose of advanced theological studies. This program requires at least thirty (30) unit-courses.

Certificate of Special Study (C.S.S.)

This study is especially designed for students who graduated from other Bible colleges or seminaries and wish to be ordained in the Presbyterian Church of the Philippines (PCP). The program is designed to equip the students with an emphasis on meeting the various needs of the ministry through the Reformed Faith. A person who applies for Certificate of Special Study (CSS) is required to complete at least twenty four (24) unit-courses prescribed by the Presbyterian Church of Philippines (PCP).

Leadership Training Course (LTC), with LLTI

PTSCAS offers a special program on Leadership Training Course (LTC) through its Lay Leaders Training Institute (LLTI) in partnership with the Presbyterian Church of the Philippines (PCP) and other denominations. This program is designed for the training of lay leaders especially elders and deacons and other church workers. This program requires at least twenty-four (24) unit-courses.
